Ok folks I'm throwing down the gauntlet (for the good of Firefly and Serenity of course)!

The Houston Crew www.houstonbrowncoats.com decided to hold a Serenifly DVD drive at this months regularly scheduled shindig, Any Serenity or Firefly box sets donated will be donated to the local public library (that is currently without!)

I e-mailed the request department and recieved a enthusiastic yes please from them, If you go straight to the librarians that handle distribution and offer to donate dvd's for circulation you will be met with enthusiasm.
My local contact said yes please, the more dvd's the better so he can distribute them all over the county.

I know many of you, worldwide, will also be meeting this Saturday, March 4, at 2pm, to all the captains out there I challenge you to do this same drive, if you have already hit another county in your area. and Report back how many sets you donate!

For folks who can't afford that extra box set, I suggested they donate a dollar or two and I would pick up an extra set or movie depending on the money raised.

This is an inexpensive way to boost sales, and introduce the Firefly 'verse to many people who may not find us otherwise.
