What was planned to be book's secret if firefly had more episodes? someone knows?

my opinion is that books secret is that he was an operative in a his past. I believe that his faith was based in the same utopian society that BDM's operitave was, I think Book got screwed over bye the alliance or saw they were wrong, lost his faith much as the operitave did at the end of BDM and book found his faith again in the good book.

"And I think calling him that is an insult to the psychotic lowlife community."
