Missed the Marathon

So I'm channel surfing Thursday Nite before the marathon only to find out that I no longer have the Sci-Fi channel. I was pissed beyond all measures and even consulted my TV Guide channel and didnt find anything. So I hope everyone watched double for me. I was also wondering one other thing is there any hit among the people of the Sci-Fi channel that they might bring back Firefly for a mini-series??

Still pissed that that I missed the marathon and I hope Sci-Fi saw that we had a strong showing and that they will bring the series back.

I don't think the Nielson Ratings for that week are out yet. I looked this morning and the latest date I found was July 3 through July 9. We will have to wait another week to see how we did.

Sorry you missed the marathon 101st.

We'd all love it if SciFi picked this up and made a mini series or a made for cable movie. That'd work for me!

In the spirit of urging that along a little.. we posted to write to SciFi and thank them for the marathon by email and by snail mail...here's the thread....

They have a pretty shiny board over there, everyone over there made me feel very welcome and I try to go visit everyday.

I'm sorry that you missed the Marathon as well, I was at the beach that week and along about Friday I was missin' Firefly somethin' fierce, I didn't catch the Thursday night shows 'cause I didn't know they were on, but I caught the Friday ones when I tuned in Sci-fi at the house and saw "Safe." Also, it sucks that you seem to no longer have Sci-Fi, have you tried to tune in the channel by hand? Sometimes when I find a channel is no longer on the pre-programed list I change the channel by hand and have to re-program it into the T.V.
