Why aren't there any Firefly novels out there? I understand there is fan fiction, and I'm sure its fabulous, but where are the commercial novels? I saw an Andromeda book on the shelves the other day. Come on. If Fox has the rights, blah blah blah, where the heck are the moneyblood-squeezed-from-a-turnip novels? Anyone know or have a say so?

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

The novels proposals that were submitted by some very talented authors are dead in the water at the publisher, Pocket Books. Seems without Joss's approval the publisher can not proceed. Joss has not approved them, so they will not be made, at least not anytime in the immediate future. Reckon Joss is pretty busy w/ Goners, Wonder Woman and his comics.

Sad news indeed, but no sense sugar coating it.
