I am currently doing a bit of work on a little thing of mine. It is, or hopefully will be, A firefly mod for the Source engine. Yes! I am aware that one is posted a few threads under mine, but this is something a little different i think. It would be realeased as 'verse chapters. With small stories not connected to the Firefly crew. I have written a lot of the story for the first chapter.

Taking place on the moon of Whitefall, you will after a very surreal sequence find yourself stranded here. Timelinewise before Mal's visit in the first episode (The Serenity pilot). I want to take a lot of the feeling from the tv series with me. To be able to create a world as "complete" as that of the series..

I'm currently working on the mapping for two towns on Whitefall. The story will also utilise a mine and a few other locations. Patience is not yet written into the story, and may not ever be. The first release will serve as a prototype for other developers to get involved. But as of now, I am not ready to handle a team.

I am putting great effort into the whole enviroment. And also working on incorperating the series sound with new and original material to fith with each chapters context.

I have already tried making a source mod about firefly. The engine wasnt suited for my project, so I started my own. So I hope luck with tour project, and when I hope you dont find the same problems I did.

PS. The main problem I found was in creating a way to make the space sim part of my game, so if you dont plan on having one or found a way to do so, your fine.
