No idea how much longer the voting will go, but SERENITY is up for the spiketv.com "Scream Awards for 2006" the dubiously accurate title of "Scream Awards" is used by them a as a catch-all for Horror/Sci-Fi.

If you're interested in voting for the BDM, go to
spiketv.com and look for the scream awards 2006 link, which will be right in front of your nose.

If you're pressed for time, Serenity is only available for one category, "Best Science Fiction Movie"

Voted....

A dream reality of Serenity winning SpikeTV's the Best Sci Fi movie award and all 9 cast members and Joss walking to the stage to receive the award and the audience erupting in a huge swell of screams, shouts and applause, "because they know", than a stunning standing ovation that continues long past the 2 minutes alotted for the acceptance speech driving the show's producers crazy and the thought of a Universal exec at home channel surfing and finding this show at the same time and wetting his pants trying to find Joss's cell ph number.....

Oh well... dream realities are better than awake realities...and the possibility of crossing over is still there....

Reminds me of the 2004 Comic Con, now that was a awaken dream reality seeing my favorite performers and best writer among thousands of cheering screaming Browncoats.

Well, I imagine that the good publicity could not hurt, and Spike does play shows in format that would allow Firefly to find a home for a spell. If nothing else, it would be another "burr in the Alliance's saddle".

Personally, I am going to watch the awards show just to hear them anounce the BDM and probably play a clip.

Damn, if only Firefly and the BDM wan't so good...
