How angry am I allowed to be???

Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges

It starts as all good stories do with a girl. Not just any girl though-THE girl. Ive been putting in groundwork since I got here and las night was the night we were both intoxicated in the same place-ergo- the night i was gonna lay down the moves.

However...

One of my flat mates decided to get blind drunk and I was the one nominated to look after him through a process of :I have friends over, I have a woman.

So obviously We arrive at the club and the drunken flatmate gets refused entry on the grounds of him being shitfaced and I am refused with him as I am his keeper. THE girl goes into the club with a strapping lad built like a shit brick house called "andy". I at this point want to go home.

However...

Somepeople wish to head to a different bar wish we have to get a taxi to and as I am the soberist one I have to pay for. Inside I am not enjoying myslef and wish to go home. BUT the flat mate who is getting lucky tonight has lost his keys so wishes me to stay while he exchanges tounge dimensions with the girl. Eventually I head off home FUMING and end up leaving said lucky flatmates keys outside for him. I fall asleep.

However...

The drunken flatmate calls me when ive just dropped off to ask where I am. I am very angry and post said bulletin.

One, you should have left your flatmate by himself. I know people say 'bros before hos', but if your friend is stupid enough to get blasted before you get to the bar, he's not your responsibility anymore. I'f he's grown up enough to make the decision to drink that much, he's grown up enough to be left on the curb.

Two, you were a fool to pay for the cab for everyone else to go to the other bar (especially since your woman friend wasn't there). You should have chimed in, told 'em to sod off and gone home.

Three, if this chick went in with Andy instead of staying with you (and that's a really shitty thing to do. Where I'm from, if one can't make it in, no one goes in) than she's obviously either a)not into you; or b) not worth the effort because she's obviously inconsiderate to those around her.

In closing, you have a right to be pissed off. Especially when your one flatmate called you to ask where you were. When that happened I would have done something overboard (I don't get mad easily unless people mess with my sleep). But I don't think you're getting mad for the right reasons or at the right people. Be mad at your one flatmate for getting stupid drunk before getting to the bar, but don't be mad at him because your girl went in with Andy instead of you. She made that decision, not your flatmate.

Anyway, there's my two cents. Hope it helps.
