Ok, after googling all over the place looking for someone who is actually selling preorders of the DVD (rather than amazon.com's "we'll let you know" stuff), a friend found it for preorder at bestbuy.com. So run, everyone, and buy them out too!

I'll believe Best Buy only once I have the DVD in hand.

I ordered a PS2 network adapter from them when the things were very rare, and Best Buy got my business by claiming they had the damned things IN STOCK.

Needless to say, once they had my money, the story changed, as it was immediately slapped on back order with a minimum of 90 day wait, and try, just TRY cancelling an order or getting your money back out of them...

Just fair warning, as a little investigation will reveal Best Buy is somewhat notorious for that kind of behavior - so don't be too surprised if you don't get your DVD's on time from them.

Yeah, I am worried that Best Buy isn't necessarily reliable. But at this point, it was the only option I could find (actually, a friend found it for me). At least they know the DVD exists; deepdiscountdvd.com doesn't even have it in their database. . . .

Thanks for the heads up--being paranoid, I went and ordered from them too (figuring, if Best Buy screws me as seems possible, I'll still have it, and if I get duplicates, I am SURE someone will want them!).

I'm already giving my mother a copy for Xmas. . . .
