how you turn off the notifying for threads and comments?

If you mean to stop people sending you emails because of replying,when posting a thread or replying just untick the box under your signature under options which says
"Notify me when someone responds to my comment."


I do it on all my posts.

Those are private messages, you can't turn those off.

Not sure about the 50 comments, seems mighty odd...

Best thing too do: don't panic and if it gets worse, contact Haken (site admin).

Hello Padave:

If you want to contact Haken just tab on "INFO" to the far right of the screen instead of entering the "COMMUNITY". Near the bottom of the page you will see "CONTACT FORM" in yellow. That will allow to Email Haken direct. Sorry about your trouble. Hope this helps.
