Nathan Fillion Takes a Drive

Nathan Fillion (Slither, Serenity, "Firefly") will play the lead on Fox's midseason drama series "Drive," says The Hollywood Reporter.

The show, from 20th Century Fox TV and executive producers Tim Minear, Ben Queen and Greg Yaitanes, chronicles an underground race across America.

Fillion will play Alex Tully, a charming, rogue landscaper who is coerced into joining the race to search for his wife who had been abducted.

In the original pilot, the role was played by Ivan Sergei.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Glad to hear Nathan has work, but the premise doesn't sound to promising to me. That & the fact it is on Fox.

Did you miss the part about it being done byTim Minear? I've been tracking this for a few months. It looks Great. Joss has seen the pilot and loved it. oh.... and the FX are by ZOIC. Give it a chance. I wish Tim would get away from FUX too.

Nope, caught that Tim is involved. I checked out Tim's show "The Inside" on Fox because of Tim & Adam being in it. Got hooked. Fox cancelled it. Fox cancelled Tim's "Wonderfalls". I'm beginning to see a pattern. I'm almost afraid to watch "Drive" for fear that Tim or I one are jinxed.

Didn't know ZOIC was doing the fx.

I'm still not sure. I absolutely hate Fox.
