Hello Everyone!

The Browncoat Foundation is helping to promote a Drive Day in celebration of our beloved Firefly's DVD release.
Since many of us are having viewing parties on that day, it seemed like a great opportunity to do this.

Our goal is to have large donations to local charities in the name of Browncoats everywhere on December 13. The impact, if enough people participate, will be tangible. We will tally the results and let people know how much was donated everywhere! Last year we managed over 400 coats and much more in other clothes, etc. It just shows what we can do as a group.

We are encouraging people to donate coats, hats, mittens, boots, blankets, books, toys and food.

This is not for publicity. It's something good that we can all participate in, especially anticipating the holidays and cold weather.

Another bump. I'm coordinating Boston and I'm willing to meet people individually to pick up donations or arrange for them to drop off at my apartment.

Give me a shout if you have anything to donate! Coats, clothing, books, computers, shoes, toys, anything!

Does it have to be exactly on Dec. 13th? My wife and I donated a bunch of stuff to the Salvation Army the week before (the browncoat donation drive not having been on my palm pilot - doh!)
