ATL area Browncoats: Summer film series at the FOX Theatre....

America loves a winner!

The lineup for the movies being shown has already been made, even though August is still listed as 'TBA', but I wanted to remind folks to call/ write the nice people at the FOX Theatre that showin' SERENITY woudl be a great idea!

I zipped out a quick e-mail to info@foxtheatre.org suggesting SERENITY be shown. Then I went ahead and just called the main number, and actually got a live person! A nice lady answered the phone, and when I told her I wanted to suggest SERENITY, she asked " Is that that Firefly movie ? ". Not only did she know it, but she agreed it would make a neat sci-fi thriller addition to their line up. She also suggested, just from her personal view, that Lake Placid might make a good double feature, as a lead in. Not sure where she got that idea, but since I own the Lake Placid DVD also, I was like...'Hell yeah!' She then went on to suggest it might make a great tie in to DragonCon..... THIS gal was on the ball !!

Anyway, just a reminder to folks in the area , and you SEBC types
