In the first episode of battlestar galactica (the miniseries) in the first scene of caprica city, one of the ships flying overhead is a firefly.
I dont know if im the first one to notice this, or if this has been said a hundred times before and im gonna look like an idiot.

Sorry, but it's been said. At least a hundred times.

Zoic, who did the effects for Firefly, also does a lot of the effects work on Battlestar. They seem to enjoy sneaking in stuff for fan boys like us. There are at least two Star Wars ships spotted in Firefly, and if you look carefully at the fleet shots in Battlestar's first season, you will see Kirk's original Enterprise in the background.

I'd given some thought to movin' off the edge -- not an ideal location -- thinkin' a place in the middle.
