When I loan one of my dvds of Firefly to a friend, it feels like Christmas. I just can`t wait for him or her to open their "present". Now I know that everyone has different tastes and not everyone will love Firefly. But then again, why the hell not, what`s not to love? The first two friends that I loaned Firefly didn`t love it and I was really disappointed. The third was my sister, who couldn`t be more different from me. Surprisingly, she loved it. She thought that it had cleverest dialog of any TV show. My question to you is approximately what % of the people you introduce to Firefly become fans?

I feel like that, too, but so far EVERYONE I gave it to had it sitting on their shelf for months and went "Huh? No, but I'll watch it eventually." whenever I asked if they had watched it yet. Then one day, they call just to tell me how awesome it is and to ask where they can get more. Bittersweet moment, that.
It was the same for me, too, btw.

I have only lent my Precious out to one person so far. She has only watched 3 episodes so far..been a few months now, so I prod her every now and again.

Likes what she has seen so far, so all is going well.

Only problem is it is my only set of DVD's :(

I am lonesome for Serenity...
