SISTER

He was one of the few in the "puppet theater" I trusted. Very sad.

"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." -- William Casey, Reagan's presidential campaign manager & CIA Director (from first staff meeting in 1981)

Yeah, the only "must-see TV" NBC had to offer recently was Meet the Press, which Russert anchored. Sundays won't feel the same without him. Now, more than ever, our nation needs a tough interviewer like Russert, no matter who is in charge!

I was shocked to hear the news. So young at 58.

I would try as often as possible to catch MTP on Sunday. He was a great host and asked the tough questions no one else would ask.

I'm truly sorry to see him go. My heart goes out to his family.

If its Sunday, its Meet The Press.

NCB had a long tribute to him this morning. I really liked the end when Matt Lauer speculated that Tim Russert already had some awesome interviews lined up at the celestial TV station.

He and his white board will be missed in November.

Don't squat with your spurs on.

The NBC Tribute to Tim was well done and very touching. I know my Sunday morings will never be the same.
