Hey all,

I've lurked here for a while, but as an avid fan wanted to get a piece in the campus paper about CSTS08. Despite pretty heavy editing, I think its shiny, but I'm biased. If you would like to check it out, please do - keep flying!

That's a great piece. Well written.

The only detail I might point out is this line:

Joss Whedon was never involved with the Can't Stop the Serenity movement. It was completely fan created and operated.
He did post a thank you on Whedonesque after the first screenings in 2006.
Still, as a third year organizer for CSTS, I love to see it get good press.

Thanks for the feedback - and the correction! I didn't realize CSTS was 100% fan generated, and here I was thinking I couldn't possibly be more proud of my fellows!

They have a section for press coverage. And your article may appear in a university publication but it's still journalism. And folks over there love to hear good things about their little movement.
