Hey everyone,
For a final project for my editing class I'm making a trailer for Serenity, and like most trailers you need praise quotes in it. I'm not looking for "2 thumbs up" and such and I also do not wanna use the ones from the original trailer.

So I'm reaching out to the Browncoats to give me some ideas for quotes. Now remember this is a trailer that will be seen by non-fans as well as people like us so the quotes must appeal to all audiences!

Thanks ahead for all input, and if you wanna create a name for the quote that's cool, if not i can use your name to go along with it!!
Thanks Guys
Chuck

Ni Hao , pops !

Best quote site by far is Rotten Tomatoes...You'll find some of the best reviews and most insightful quotes there , plus something no other site has...The 'TOMATOMETER' !

Here's a direct link to Serenity reviews there :

http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/serenity

There are NINE PAGES of review quotes available at the site...

By the way , folk find Serenity 82 % 'Fresh' , and we all know that the 'rotten' folk and their steenking reviews
really don't count at all...

Enjoy !

And please let us know how this project turns out...Our advance thanks for bringing this brand of religiosity to them as need it told !

" It's a science fiction film for fans of science fiction. "

Yeah , that's a great quote , Dave , but it's sort of niche-y and genre-limited...It's like " preaching to the choir ".

Serenity transcends genre , and unifies various fan-favorite tropes...

We're tryin' to reach the fuzzie-wuzzies...Those folk who don't know Serenity from Shinola !

I thought we we're trying to reach everybody. Seriously though I can't count the number of people that I've had to drag to Firefly kicking and screaming because they'd given up on TV/movies doing science fiction right. I was in that category myself actually until I got the DVDs.

Sorry , didn't mean to sound critical , actually !

Just meant we have to be careful , 'cause there are lots of folk who don't know what's good for 'em , or that turn their noses up at the mere intimation of anything 'sci-fi'...

We're all on the same team here...

I just want to be sure we don't go inadvertently excludin' people...

'Cause that would be rude !

By fuzzie-wuzzies , that's what I meant...Folk that don't know what's good for 'em , or that are uncomfortable with sci-fi , or that just haven't made their minds up yet...

A lot of minds slam shut at 'sci-fi' , so I've taken pains to say , " It's an Action-Adventure / Drama " , and that seems to haul 'em in...

Even so , one has to be careful about the notion of 'Drama' around folk with manparts , 'cause God knows , we see aplenty of that in 'real life' , what with the empty kitchens and all...
