Excellent vid!

Love it when Nathan Fillion conducts the crowd reaction. Good to see that he still does that for yucks. I wonder what they were saying into that dictaphone thingy for the web radio show? Wish I knew which one it was for. Too funny!

Also, I felt sorry for the fan who didn't get a hug.

they're descending into self parody, which i guess is to be expected when they keep showing up to these things w/out anything new to say, and to make a few easy bucks. if nathan keeps this up, he's gonna turn into william shatner.

Question: how long did it really take for all those fans to get into the conference room?

Hmmm, are panels 45 minutes long or an hour long? Nathan was saying they only had 30 minutes left.

I'm still hoping someone taped the rest of the panel but haven't found it yet.

This is why the panel started late.

The room they planned on holding it in had to be changed twice due to the number of fans. The second time was when people started lining up more than two hours before the event, and the line quickly went out the door and around the building.

That makes sense because for a relatively "unknown" fandom, we are a huge bunch. I was told by ncbrowncoat that the line on Friday was insanely long in the wait.

Thanks for the link!

The line on Friday was nothing compared to the line on Saturday (yesterday). Yesterday I joined the line 45 min early, and I got seated towards the back of the room. Most people who came after me didn't get in.

I decided to just watch it on D*C TV in my room today. I got 2 little kids and waiting in those lines is almost unbearable.

Yes. We go to conventions. We are passionate in our fandom in person and online! Also we have greenbacks.

I missed the first panel because I was way back in the line, and it was almost starting time so I just gave up. It sucked when the line started moving 5 mins later...

But it's OK because I learned my lesson and waited 2 hours in advance for the other two panels. I also took my free time on Friday to wait for the guys at the Walk of Fame. Sure enough, I was the 5th person to shake hands with them and say hi

You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

By my watch it was at least twenty minutes. It would have helped if they'd started to let us in more than, like, five minuted before the panel started. You'd think having to move the thing would have told them the line was gonna be hefty. When they moved the third panel to a huge room in the Marriott (I think it was 2000 capacity) and were talking about crowd control because you couldn't go anywhere in the hotel without seeing the line... Well, I think they did start letting us in earlier that time

You may say I'm a dreamer. But I'm not the only one.

Well, Venom, I might have liked to trade places with you.
I made it into the Friday panel only because I stood in line for 2 hrs 45 min. But as a result of waiting in line all weekend for Firefly panels, I could never catch those two in the Walk of Fame.
So I got to see their lovely Q&A sessions but never had the pleasure of shaking their hands. Thank goodness I got to meet Jewel & Morena or I might have been REALLY depressed (not really).

My friend got some video footage of the big Nathan/Morena kiss -- and possibly some other stuff -- let me see if he's posted it to YouTube yet.

The panels were so much fun (and well worth the wait). Friday was a little sillier with just Nathan & Alan. Once the girls showed up, they all seemed to settle down a little. And the questions got better and better as the weekend progressed.
