New member, and I want Firefly back!!!

Greetings all,

I'm a new convert to the firefly effort, (also a longtime Farscape fan) AND I WANT MY SHOWS BACK!!
why does it seem that when ever a show starts to get good someone comes along and cans it?? Sorry to admit this, but when it was on TV I only caught a few shows, and thought it was ok. However thanks to netflix's I rented the complete season and watch them all back to back, and let me say its TEN times better that way. I don't know maybe coming in half way through or something was why I didn't love it. Well after watching all of them, I went over to amazon and bought the DVD set, so I can watch them anytime I want.

However the only improvment I could offer to the show whould be to have Jayne on more, damn he cracks me up. Sorta like Rygal in farscape.

Oh well all lets put up the good fight and get our show back!!!

I am going through the same thing!
Damm I really miss this show.

Really not fair.

I guess we gotta just keep complaining, convincing and converting long enough so that maybe we can build enough critical mass, that we are taken seriously. Then and only then will it get done.

There really is something fundamentally wrong in a company like FOX owning the rights for future TV development while at the same time, not having any desire to actually do it.

And if someone wants to pick-up the series from where it was left off, and begin producing new episodes, I am quite sure it would not come cheap from FOX!

Totally unfair.
But what else can we do except...
complain, convert, & convince one fan at a time.
But hey, if you can do more than one at a time, go for it!

P.S. I agree with more Jayne. He is great!

I am also missing this show and i'm hoping that it comes back in some shape or form.

I live in Australia where scifi isn't handled very well. The trek shows are on at 2:00 am and Farscape (my only refuge at the moment) is on evry now and then and still in season three.

Hell DS9 (Which I loved) only finished three monthes ago.

Well lets hope for the best and do what we can
