It's a very intriguing interview, especially the first few minutes about "womb envy."

Sometimes you own the libs. Sometimes, the libs own you.

Not womb envy again.

I can happily listen to this guy talk about anything - except womb envy.

Heads should roll

It's a cool interview, but I have to disagree on the whole "tv is feminine and film is masculine" statement. While guys like him and JJ and others take advantage of the tv format to delve into their characters and stories, for the most part TV is very network driven, get to to the point, and disposable, whereas with movies, you can take the time to breathe and contemplate and be introspective while still working towards a point. And some of the best films ever leave on questions, not answers. I guess it just depends on the personality in charge.

BLACKROBEDBOOK

This interview made me realize how when I first watch the show, I really didn't see the point of Mal Reynolds as captain. The whole 'melting pot', pluralism part of the show had me to think that Mal should at least been a man of African or Asian ethnicity or a woman of many ethnicities.

But thats just my opinion.
