Serenity On The Sound aka The Ferry Job!

Frequent requests for a Firefly Meet-Your-Fellow-Browncoats Gathering has resulted in an elaborate plan. This is a great chance for both newbies and long-time recruits to mingle, chat and sing "The Hero of Canton" guaranteed to get weird looks from the other passengers.
So read on, brave Browncoat, and prepare to be amazed....

So the day's are getting shorter and the weather's a bit glum but hey! that doesn't stop a Seattle Browncoat! Join us for a short trip across the Puget Sound on a Washington State ferry. This will be a prime opportunity to get to know your fellow Browncoats over a warm beverage and enjoy the best view around.

Meet at the Coleman Dock, Pier 52 by 9:45 am (no later than this - the ferry departs at 10:15 and you need time to buy tickets) How to find us - "Gather near Matt's Gourmet Dogs. Look for folks with coats of a brownish color."
Passenger Fares (Adult) are $6.70 each, (Youth - 6-18) $5.40 each. Leave the pets at home, please. Washington State Ferry Pet Policy: Pets must be on a leash or in a carrier at all times. Pets, except service animals, are not allowed in terminal buildings or above the car decks, unless they are in a pet carrier.

We'll wait for walk-on boarding between the Ticketing counter and Matt’s Gourmet Hot Dogs. (Mmmm, good dogs!)
Ride the ferry du jour (10:15 departure) to Bremerton, where we will convince the captain to turn the boat around and ride back to Seattle. The trip should take just over two hours, returning around 12:30 pm.

Good things to know:
Bundle up, it's November after all.
Bring your camera, if it's a clear day you might see birds, whales or maybe a private floaty island.
Smoking is not allowed on the ferry.
Feel free to take your vehicle on the ferry but it's gonna cost ya a bundle of cashy money and you won't be able to get back over to Seattle until the next ferry run.

Food Service:
There is a food court at Coleman Dock (Commuter Comforts Espresso Café and Wine Bar, Candy Lane, World Wrapps, Caffe Appassionato Coffee Company, Andy's Alaskan Subs & Matt’s Gourmet Hot Dogs). The ferry has a galley and limited vending machines. You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages but no alcohol (some ferries sell beer and wine in their galley).

Getting to the dock:
