And I still hear disney songs... damn disney.

Sorry we fell asleep on the couch:)
There's just something so nifty about being off work, eating a yummy breakfast and then snuggling up on the couch and drifting off...giggle

My weekend? Hurmmm ... is it bad that I can't remember what I did?
I know I was excited because I was finally getting Better Days today.
Ooh, and my brother && his fiancee came round for the day yesterday too.

Today tho: College. Oh what fun. It snowed too but unfortunately the UK pretty much shuts down when that happens. Still had to go in tho.

Ah, Maths HWK. Remind me, again, why I took this subject?

lol

You think it's bad in the UK when it snows? There was a slightly chilly night here in TX and a friend had his night class canceled due to weather. I didn't even where a coat when I was going out that night. I agree with Obama, some people need to toughen up. IL cold desensitization ftw!

Now then, that does seem ever-so-slightly over-the-top ... a little bit of weather never hurt anybody. If anything, it makes us stronger, and we don't go into as much shock when we just happen to spent winter abroad!

*snicker*

You're not south enough MsA.
Snow here means that the tops of two or three mountains are white (Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa, and/or Haleakala) and the rest of the islands are getting rained on. (Other than that, where I live, we'd wonder what the heck that white stuff is...and probably run inside to get the fixings for shave ice -- or what mainlanders call 'sno-cones'.)

...And besides, I thought the mere threat of anything storm-like (or strikes involving the shipping industry in the US) was a time to stock up on rice and toilet paper.

My weekend.... Hmmm.

Let's see. Saturday, drove 40 miles to the closest Circuit City to see if they still had anything good left...

Nope. Went out to lunch with friends at a Chain place called the Texas Roadhouse. Could barely crawl to the car afterward, I was so stuffed with steak.

Sunday, Lay around the house until 4, get dressed and head to a friends house for a Superbowl party. Ate too much again and headed for home a little after halftime. Went to bed...

Today, Worked on another chapter of my current fanfic and worked on the outline for the next one

My weekend was great, except for the part where I didn't (and still don't) have access to my room while it's being worked on. It'll be nice to finally have it finished and pretty, but I want my privacy back.

But we are getting old, my back is all sore and such...though that could be from helping people move for about eight hours on saturday.

Other than that, did the whole superbowl party thing, where people had no consideration that I was hurting and still made me move tables and help cook. Then came home and watched a car burn for half an hour, twas one of the most awesomest things I've seen in my old age.

Hey guys! I'm back for a while! As Wakeupsoon mentioned, in the UK we have a small amount of snow so college is cancelled! Of course staff still have to come in (and how does that make sense?!) but I'm less frantic busy today and can catch up on all the friends I have so horribly neglected over the last however many months!

Lovely to see so many people I know still around (some with shiny new names! Go MSA!) and looking forward to getting to know everyone I've not met yet!

As I understand it, the notification system on this site only works when someone responds to you. Not when there's a new post in the thread.

And no msa, there's no video. Sadly, I didn't think of that till talking about it with Roxy later.

They may post right after you, but they might hit the reply button in someone else's post, therefore sending the notification to that person...is it really that hard to understand? If they don't hit your reply button, you don't get a notification.
