SAG and the UAW don't have the power they use too, and they lost that power in less then a year. As companys lose money, unions lose leverage.

Do you really want me to rant on for an hour about Union History and the IWW, though ?

You can't play hardball if you play by their rules, it's like playing a card sharper at his own game, on his table, in his house, with his deck, and expecting a fair chance.

And as stupid as trying to obtain a permit for civil disobedience.

In order to have power, one must be willing not only to grasp it despite it's nettles, but then apply it firmly in an effective manner, and you know, it's not so easy to strike soundly with such a thing....

While on your KNEES begging the masters favor!

The UAW got alot from the auto industry, now with GM going in bankrupcy they're going to lose alot bennys and jobs. This means less dues going to the UAW.
