America loves a winner!

Watching Better off Ted, Linda, ( sexy hot blonde ) said Ted was 'shiny!'.

Wonder where they got THAT from.

Technically, it was 'shiniest', but damn cool nonetheless.

Very funny show. Especially when after Phil was frozen, he would randomly do that high pitch yelling, not because he was in pain, but because his brain was petrified.

STORYMARK

I caught a "Shiny" in somethin g else recently, but I'm not sure what...

It might have been the movie Sex Drive - which has Seth Green, so it'd be a double-Whedon touch.

"I thoroughly disapprove of duels. If a man should challenge me, I would take him kindly and forgivingly by the hand and lead him to a quiet place and kill him."

I for one don't think SHINY is incorporated or used often enough.

I dropped it once not long ago, when some clerk asked me how I was doing. After I told her 'Just shiny!', she said she'd not heard that one before, and that she liked it!

I do my part.

It definitely is, I work in a supermarket and me and a fellow browncoat had a lot of fun when we served this guy who dropped his change as he left and said 'gorramit' when he bent to pick it up. We called him Firefly Man and he became somewhat of a legend. We waited ages to see him again and this time he said 'shiny' when we gave him his change. I have converted many to the browncoat way of life but he was the first I came across by accident - but seeing as I live in a small town in Oxfordshire in England that's not really surprising.

Firefly Man.
Sounds like the keen opportunity for a Cashy Money reply.

It would be but we only saw him twice and were so pleased the second time when we finally saw him again the only thing that was in our heads was 'Firefly Man!'
Besides we were both working so we couldn't have stopped to exchange quotes for ages as we wanted to or we would have ended up with queues of disgruntled customers - and probably an even more disgruntled boss.
