It has just occurred to me that it is thirty years to the day since Mrs Thatcher became the British Prime Minister.

Anyone have any thoughts about this, or about her?

Yes, I wish she was President of the U.S. and not Barry.

I've been planning on using one of her most famous isms for a political character in a fic - asking about people 'are they One of Us?'

Whatever else I might think of her about anything, what defines her for me is how she defended Pinochet when he was in the UK. Beyond despicable.
