The Mighty Have Pulled Ahead 157 Votes
(but the Red Dwarves have got us by the, whatever they can reach, and we are getting clobbered at BBC by a mob of Ewoks)

The month of May saw some insane voting at TVTally.com. In that time, over 74,000 votes were cast just for us and Jericho (36668 for them, 37437 for us). We went from 1,520 votes behind, to 189 ahead. Currently, votes are being cast at more than thirty times the rate of four months ago. This month, more than half the votes ever cast for those two shows at TVTally, were cast. We are mighty because some of us are crazy enough to spend all that time voting.

If you can spare some time, and want to help us win this vote, go to
http://168.215.229.9/mthread.asp?b=2&t=38432

We are up 439 votes on Jericho in the last seven days.

From the TVTally "Top 25 Shows" overall score page ( http://www.tvtally.com/shows/overalltop.php?top=25),

We gained 493 votes on Jericho in the week ending May 25 (593 the previous week). Overall the total vote at the beginning of the week is Jericho 95,649 (78,369 last week), Firefly 95,215 (77,442 last week). In January, we were over 2,000 votes behind. But a year ago, we were ahead. Over the last few months, we have been closing the gap.
If you turn off cookies on your browser, when you go to TVTally, you can vote up to three (used to be six) times (and for more than one show, or all for one show). You can also vote more than once in six hours (unpredictable, tends to happen early in the day, and after 6 PM). Some consider this cheating, some don't. Either you're a cookie monster, or you ain't.

At Stargate ( http://stargate-news.com/sci-fi-poll-best-in-science-fiction.html) we are at 43.6 (43.5 yesterday) percent today, and 1401 votes, for the best SciFi movie. Vote for Firefly as well as Serenity (where we have 26 percent of the vote and Red Dwarf has 23.8, versus 26 and 23.7 yesterday). The Dwarves are on a big rampage (with us at 7884 and them at 7219).

At BBC ( http://newsvote.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/6517155.stm) today we are; Serenity 42.72% Star Wars 29.26% Blade Runner 16.89% Planet of the Apes 1.80% The Matrix 9.34% 43265 Votes Cast

In the last 24 hours there were 32 votes. Most of them for Star Wars. Two days ago, the standings were; Serenity 42.76% Star Wars 29.18% Blade Runner 16.91% Planet of the Apes 1.80% The Matrix 9.35% 43199 Votes Cast

Back on September 5th it was Serenity 39.53% Star Wars 30.83% Blade Runner 17.87% Planet of the Apes 1.90% The Matrix 9.87% , with 40635 Votes Cast

This was always our big biggest potential problem on the BBC page, that some Star Wars fan group would notice how we sneaked past them, and return in force. Looks like they got a one time shot when someone raised the alarm, but the Star Wars fans are voting less and less each day (four days after they first showed up). But if they stablize at a few dozen daily voters, they can wear away our lead if you do not at least match them. Ewoks don't have a lot of patience, right?

CROTCHETYOLDFAN

I've just added the ability to rate/vote for favorite shows & etc. on the Classic Science Fiction Channel - www.rimworlds.com/theclassicsciencefictionchannel.

Right now, Jericho is beating the pants off of everyone, but the rating system just went live yesterday evening, so all is not lost.

CSFC is a link aggregator to classics of science fiction in just about every medium there is (tv, film, radio, text, etc) with hundreds of hours of SF/F/H content.

Sounds kind of like an ad, sorry, but really, if you are into SF (and I know you guys are, Firefly is such a great example of the genre!) I think you'll enjoy the site.

Romp Turns Into A Rout As Jericho Crushed
(Ewoks repulsed, but the Red Dwarves are still gaining)

We are up 3,156 votes on Jericho in the last seven days.

If you want to get more than one vote in at the stargate news site press firefly and then hit the vote button in rapid fire about 8 to 10 times. If you hit it too often you'll see a page barring you from seeing the results, but at least some of those votes will count. If you wish to vote again, simply delete the cookies and press the back button. I see somebody is doing this for Red Dwarf so it will surpass us.

A better way to connect to the SG News site is via this link. I put it in my favorites because the link provided here usually sends me to a page which my windows won't load properly.

In the last two weeks, Browncoats and Jericho fans cast an average of 5,000 votes a day (compared to about 140 votes a day at the beginning of the year). We are mighty because some of us are crazy enough to spend all that time voting. Here's hoping that the Jericho fans will admit defeat, so the few fans doing the multiple voting, can ease up. That sort of thing takes a lot of work. The Jericho fans began the multiple voting when we began catching up. We fought fire with fire and won anyway.

We gained 3,339 votes on Jericho in the week ending June 1 (493 the previous week). Overall the total vote at the beginning of the week is Jericho 112,183 (95,649 last week), Firefly 115088 (95,215 last week). In January, we were over 2,000 votes behind. But a year ago, we were ahead. Over the last few months, we have closed the gap and gone back into the lead.

At Stargate ( http://stargate-news.com/sci-fi-poll-best-in-science-fiction.html) we are at 43.7 (43.8 yesterday) percent today, and 1444 votes, for the best SciFi movie. Vote for Firefly as well as Serenity (where we have 27 percent of the vote and Red Dwarf has 27.1, versus 26.8 and 26.2 yesterday). The Dwarves are on a big rampage (with us at 9063 and them at 9085). At this point, the Dwarves could pass us tomorrow.

Silly numbers these days. Hackers leave. Browncoats can win on our own.

Oh, The Horror, The Red Dwarves Keep Beating Us
(Jericho is now way behind and fading fast, while the Ewoks are stalled at BBC)

May was a good month for us at TVTally. Browncoats cast 51,633 votes, compared to 48,171 for the Jericho fans. We went from 1,520 votes behind, to 3,339 ahead. Currently, votes are being cast at more than thirty times the rate of four months ago. This month, more than half the votes ever cast for those two shows at TVTally, were cast.
