Michael Jackson has been taken by ambulance to a Los Angeles hospital after reportedly going into cardiac arrest, TMZ reports. According to the report, paramedics had to administer CPR to Jackson inside the ambulance. The 911 call from Jackson’s Holmby Hills home in Los Angeles was placed at 12:21 p.m. PST. No other details are known as yet, but Jackson’s mother is reportedly already on the way to the hospital. Jackson Family Feared Morphine OD

Members of Michael Jackson's family told us the singer was given a "heavy dose of morphine" prior to his death, and family members were alarmed.

We're told Joe Jackson recently wanted to put Michael in a rehab facility in Palmdale, California for what he considered an "addiction" to morphine and prescription drugs.

Family members say they felt he was unable to perform for his upcoming concerts because of his drug use.

Members of the upcoming tour tell TMZ Jackson was generally lethargic and very late for rehearsals.

There are reports Jackson OD'd yesterday on Demerol, a drug similar to morphine.

Interestingly, Jackson wrote a song called "Morphine" in 1997. One of the lyrics -- "Demerol. Demerol. Oh God he's taking Demerol."

LAPD Searching For Jackson's Live-In Doctor

We've learned law enforcement is looking for a doctor who lived at Michael Jackson's home -- and the doctor is nowhere to be found.

Law enforcement sources tell us a BMW belonging to the doctor was towed from Jackson's home last night.

Cops are looking to interview the doc.

A law enforcement source says the doctor gave Jackson an injection before he died.

Jimi Hendrix’s manager murdered him, says former aide

A former roadie has claimed in a new book that rock legend Jimi Hendrix was murdered by his manager.

According to James “Tappy” Wright, Hendrix’s manager, Michael Jeffrey, who stood to collect millions of dollars on the star’s life insurance policy, drunkenly confessed to killing him by stuffing pills into his mouth and washing them down with several bottles of red wine.

Wright says Jeffrey did so because he feared Hendrix intended to dump him for a new manager, according to a report in the Mail on Sunday.

In his book, Rock Roadie, Wright says Jeffrey told him in 1971 that Hendrix had been “worth more to him dead than alive” as he had taken out a life insurance policy on the musician worth 2million dollars, with himself as the beneficiary. Two years later, Jeffrey was killed in a plane crash, reports The Independent.

Hendrix passed away in September 1970. He was 27.

An ambulance crew found his body in the Samarkand Hotel, west London, in the room of a woman called Monika Dannemann, whom he had known for only a few days.

Describing the night of Jeffrey’s confession, Wright wrote: “I can still hear that conversation, see the man I’d known for so much of my life, his face pale, hand clutching at his glass in sudden rage.”

Wright claims Jeffrey told him: “I had to do it, Tappy. You understand, don’t you? I had to do it. You know damn well what I’m talking about.

“I was in London the night of Jimi’s death and together with some old friends… we went round to Monika’s hotel room, got a handful of pills and stuffed them into his mouth… then poured a few bottles of red wine deep into his windpipe.

“I had to do it. Jimi was worth much more to me dead than alive. That son of a bitch was going to leave me. If I lost him, I’d lose everything.”

Surgeon John Bannister, who dealt with Hendrix at hospital, said he was convinced the star had drowned in red wine, despite having very little alcohol in his bloodstream. (ANI)

Citing unidentified sources, TMZ said Tuesday the drug Propofol was found at Jackson's rented mansion following his death from an apparent cardiac arrest last Thursday at the age of 50.

"I told him - and it is so painful that I actually felt it in my whole spirit - 'If you take that you might not wake up.'"

CNN said it could not independently verify whether Lee had worked for Jackson. Lee was also unable to explain why she was contacted by Jackson's staff last week more than three months after she had ceased to work for him.

In 1980, Jackson ventured into modeling. She stated that it was her own decision to pose nude for Playboy.[11] However, according to several later interviews Jackson maintains that the 'playboy' incident was not her idea and what she did (and the things she stated in her book) was under the control and threat of violence from her then husband, Jack Gordon. She explains further that her apparent willingness to pose nude was part of her then-husband's plan to sexually exploit her for millions of dollars. She said she complied out of fear and this was not something she would have done otherwise.[12][13]

In March 1989, her first cover and layout was one of the most successful issues in Playboy's history. At its time of release, it sold over 8 million copies, going on to become the best selling issue of the magazine ever. She posed again in Playboy in 1991 to promote her autobiography and subsequently in a 1994 video for the magazine, becoming one of the first celebrities to have a Playboy video aired. It was later revealed that Jackson initially refused to pose for the second spread and for the video, however, Gordon beat her into submission.[14]

After marrying Gordon in September 1989, Jackson distanced herself from certain members of her family, although she claims to have spoken with several of her siblings during this period. Her 1991 autobiography La Toya: Growing up in the Jackson Family was probably the main reason for this estrangement, as it made scathing criticisms of several family members, including the allegation that her father abused members of the family, notably herself and sister Rebbie.[15] Rebbie Jackson denied these claims, while other members of the family hypothesised that part of the book had, in fact, been written by Gordon.

In 1993, Jackson, at a press conference overseas, declared that she believed rumors that her brother Michael had sexually abused children. She later stated in an interview that her accusations at this time were delivered under threat of violence from her then husband. She has claimed that these accusations would not have been made by her had she not been under threat.[16] Furthermore, the initial accusations of child molestation surfaced that year, prompting members of the family to refute the charges, claiming that Jackson was "controlled and used" by Gordon — Jackson's father wrote about Gordon's control in his book The Jacksons. Two years later, she made headlines again for announcing the so-called "Jackson Family Secret Phone Number Line". In 1996, however, Jackson walked out on Gordon after he attempted to force her to dance at a strip club in Cleveland, Ohio. The former Jehovah's Witness (she left the faith in 1987) refused to do so and in return, was booed and heckled by the predominantly male crowd.

In 1997, she ended her estrangement with the entire Jackson family and returned home to Hayvenhurst. That year, she divorced Gordon. Jackson has no children and currently resides in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

La Toya was one of the first siblings present at Reagan-UCLA Medical Center on June 25, 2009 after her brother Michael Jackson was pronounced dead after suffering cardiac arrest. She was named as the informant on her brother's death certificate.

Yes, the audience was outraged, but mostly because they wanted to hear more secrets. As she revealed each “shocker,” people could get worked up over her selling out, but only after they’d heard all the good stuff.

Anyway, I had never read the world-shattering tell-all, La Toya: Growing Up In The Jackson Family, and decided to check it out, and it was more than readable–I tore through the entire thing in one afternoon.

Before I get into what I really thought, I have to share THE. BEST. STORY. EVER. of the wacky Jacksons. During a section where Toy Toy talks about scary fan encounters the family had, she mentions a morning they woke up to find a crazy woman back by their swimming pool, toppling solid-marble statues and turning on all the gas valves. When she saw the family watching her:

[She] lifted her skirt, and in a deranged voice declared, “My name is Pussy, and I’m gonna give it to all of you! All of you! And I hate you! Because you’re close to Michael!”

Lifting her skirt! A deranged voice! “My name is Pussy”! Give that broad a reality show.

Anyway, I’ve always liked La Toya. The camp value of her Psychic Friends Network, the camp value of her name, the camp value of her being the craziest of a really crazy family…she makes an easy punchline.

But let’s back up a second. This book came out in the early ’90s, before the child molestation charges. The most shocking thing that La Toya alleges (besides some unflattering swipes at Janet) is that her father abused them all, and her mother enabled it. Sad, yes, but in terms of Jackson family scandal, the worst was yet to come.

Well written and quickly paced (more thanks to Patricia Romanowski, the “co-writer,” no doubt), La Toya comes across as sweet and kind-hearted, which I would guess is pretty accurate.

There are a couple of awesome stories in here, including how Paula Abdul and Jackie Jackson began an affair, and La Abdul had decided to confront his wife. She welcomed her in, and then tied Paula to a chair and began screaming at her. Paula only escaped when MC Skat Kat showed up with an assault rifle. Just kidding–she convinced the wife that she thought Jackie was single.

The other great story occurs when La Toya goes to Phil Spector’s house. After locking her in and having his butler repeatedly ask her if she wants to go to the bathroom (apparently he has peepholes in there), she wanders around and starts browsing in the library. As she does, she notices that the paintings have their eyes cut out, and Phil’s staring at her through them!

She tries to leave, but Phil comes in and out five times, each time affecting a different voice and accent, and finally brandishes a motel key, telling her that it’s the key to the Bates Motel. Sheltered La Toya has never seen Psycho, so he fails to scare her, and instead, he rushes to the piano and starts banging it discordantly and demanding that she sing. (How Ursula!)

“But Phil, I don’t know the melody–”

“Sing!” So I sang, any notes that came into my head, while Phil stamped his foot to keep time and raved at the top of his voice, “We’re gonna make good work together! We’re gonna be the best team ever! Your fucking brother Michael is nothing! He has no talent! I’ll show him! Everything he’s done is shit!”

After a lot of this, she talks him into letting her go to her car for a second, and then she peels out for the gate. Phil tries to shut her in, but she escapes. If this is true (and I’d believe it is), how can anyone doubt Phil murdered Lana Clarkson?

Anyway, Jack Gordon, La Toya’s manager/husband/all-around bad guy is presented as a friend, nothing more, who is trying to prevent the Jacksons from kidnapping La Toya and returning her to live a virtual prisoner. We know now that Gordon, with his mob ties, rap sheet and possible murders (!!!), supposedly brainwashed Toy Toy and forced her to do things she didn’t want to that harmed to her career (probably irreparably) and her relationship with her family (happily, not so). (Although, she did do the Playboy spread and wore that fantastic earring on the cover, but whatev.)

The most poignant moment of it-might-have-been occurs in the book when La Toya, reflecting on what a sheltered, innocent young woman she was, talks about meeting Prince at a roller-skating party. We all know Prince is a fan of thin-voiced beauties, and helped some of them achieve fantastic music. La Toya would’ve been the perfect Prince protege, and who knows what they might have accomplished together.

Still, even though it represents a lost opportunity for Toy Toy, it does reflect how truly sweet and naive she was in the early ’80s, probably wearing that horrible headband and looking gorgeous.

Shortly after Prince released “Soft and Wet,” he shyly introduced himself to me at a roller-skating party. “Hi.”

“Hi,” I said nonchalantly.

“I’m Prince.”

“Yes, I know.” There was no mistaking his large brown eyes, downy moustache, and straight black hair. Although I was sitting down to put on my skates, he was barely my height.

“I just want you to know that I’m madly in love with you,” he whispered passionately.

“Oh.” I thought this was his way of complimenting someone. I had no idea of his real intentions until he said, “I have all your pictures and everything, and I like everything about you.” His voice trailed off as if he had run out of words.

“Oh…that’s nice.”

Most girls would have kissed him or slapped him. Me? I stood up, offered a cheery “Well, hope you have a nice time tonight!” and skated off.

Abraham Foxman, national director of the ADL, said "every time he has a problem in his life, he blames the Jews". Foxman referred to a similar incident with Jackson in 1995, when he wrote a song titled "They don't care about us" that included anti-Semitic stereotypes. Jackson later apologized for the lyrics and removed them from the song.

He left his practice last spring to work with Jackson, where he was paid roughly $150,000 a month.

Murray's lawyer says he'll continue to work at his clinics as he waits for a decision about an arrest.
