I have a feeling this really isn't going to help Mike Huckabee's chances at winning the White House if he should run again...

Seems the guy they're looking for in the shooting deaths of four police officers in Washington state just happens to have had his sentence commuted by the Arkansas governor. I'm sure the Willie Horton comparisons will be trotted out any minute now, especially by the likes of Beck and Limbaugh (/sarcasm).

DREAMTROVE

That makes life easier. I like Huckabee, I am always worried that too many people from Hope Arkansas are getting too much power, but he is probably really a Clinton enemy.

This leaves the door wide open for you know who. I guess the logical side of me says "enlist now, while you can actually help." Being in early is important. I'm guessing the 2012 election is going to be a no-contest, but I will put my predictions currently running:

Sarah Palin, without Huckabee, is a shoe in. Her nemesis becomes a third party Dobbs. There are lots of ways to solve that. Obama running on the platform of a collapsed economy, debt 200% of GDP or more, and a double-dip depression, and oh, WWIII, is not going to be able to get very far.

I guess I'd say "Meet the next president of the United States."

Not a chance in hell, Dream.

Speakin of early, I've had it in for her while people were still takin her seriously, and she makes it too goddamn easy, you *know* this.

Ain't gonna happen cause the Rethugs are quite convinced.. ..that they'd be wasting their time and effort on a bimbo that'd wind up a laughingstock even worse than she is now, and ruin what pathetic little "credibility" they got left.

And forget Romney, as well, since all he's got is Mormons, who can be turned upon him simply by exposing where he got the money - and since WWASPS is flailing about in it's death throes, there ain't no more comin from THAT tap, thankeeverramuchly.

And you *know* where this is going, don't you ?

Hint for the less savvy: the political variation of a "magicians force".

Pastor Mike Huckabee is jew Bill Clinton Blythe III's personal preacher. Bill was raised jewish and attended synogogue until he changed his name to Clinton at age 18. His real father is trillionaire Arkansas governor Winthrop Rockefeller. His mother was a prostitute. Trillionaire Rabbi David Rockefeller introduced Bill to JFK at the White House, in the famous photo used for Clinton's campaign.

Allegedly Mike Huckabee is not related to Melissa Huckaby, who kidnapped raped and murdered a little girl. She's a Sunday school teacher and lived with her grandfather Pastor Clifford Lawless who's the preacher at Clover Road Baptist Church. Melissa flipped out after being raped by a cop in a patrol car when she was 18.

Dream, you're still overlooking the more than 30% of people who aren't supporters of Palin, and aren't on the fence about her, but ADAMANTLY oppose her, and absolutely WILL turn out to vote, if only to vote AGAINST her. As of now, that number - the people who actively despise Ms. Palin - is some 15% higher than the number of people who support her.

Now I'll grant you she'll make some headway amongst the "middle-grounders", those who have no real opinion of her, or want to kind of like her but need a nudge, but that number of voters who really, REALLY hate her isn't likely to go down. And if anything, it's more likely to go up, as more info comes out about her.

You see it as a walkover for her, while I still say that if you run her, and Dobbs (or ANY halfway polarizing third-party candidate) runs as an independent, then it's a walkover for Obama for a second term.
