There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

Not so bad as a film itself, but as a pilot for a new series it was disappointing. Didn't really grab me and make me anxious for more. I will still watch a few episodes before I make a final judgment.

I enjoyed it as a stand-alone, though at the end it was clear there was supposed to be more.
Correct me, but isn't it BSG-related? I've never watched BSG since probably the first episode back in the Dark Ages. So the new material might be measured differently against the BSG background.

@FloralBunny It's an attempt to explain how Cylons came into being, so prequel-BSG.

@Chris - Jane Epenson is a producer.

I agree with ECG - need to see a few more eps first.

I enjoyed it quite a bit, but then I love all things robot. I also thought Eric Stoltz did a fine job of portraying Daniel Greystone. Not sure how I feel about the actor portraying the elder Adama. The jury is still out on that one.

It was also interesting to see how the One God philosophy of the Cylons began and the beginnings of the Cylon army.

I wasn't sure I would like it having already seen how the story plays out, but I was pleasantly surprised and plan on watching the series when it starts. I was intrigued.

America loves a winner!

I'm watching part 1 now, and am I the only one who sees a striking resemblance between the young character - Zoe, and a certain Deschenel sister, by the ( nearly ) same name ? Heck, she even sounds a bit like her, w/ that sort of raspy voice... cute kid,regardless.
