I still say if it's THAT important to you, you really should know how to spell it. Or at least be able to LEARN how to spell it.

"IndependEnce" I think an Indy Pendant might be something you wear around your neck when you go to Indiana. It's probably red.

Better now, though.

And trust me, spelling counts. In life and in school. Seems there was some guy who tried to blow up an airliner on Xmas day, and if they'd only spelled his name correctly, he'd have been flagged and detained before he got on the plane...

And more than that, it will help you argue your position if you can lay it out in clear, coherent, correctly spelled and grammatically acceptable sentences.

If only .

I find that story completely implausible , mainly due to the fact that they oughta be able to come up with a better excuse than that , since so many constraints have been placed upon our Liberties in the name of fighting terrorism...

'Course , the Muslims could help out , too...

Do there really HAVE to be about 100 different ways to spell Mohammed ?

Oh yes, that is pretty essential, much like a professional appearance, eliminating obvious errors is something that renders it more convincing because it shows you care enough about the message to giftwrap it, yes ?

And it goes on and up from there - regardless of what I might have thought of Buckleys morals or politics, he was a very good speaker who used his vocabulary and eloquence as a *weapon*.

And when words are your primary weapon, you want it razor fuckin sharp, you bet.

All this time , I've been under the impression that an 'Indy Pendant' was that thing Marion Ravenwood was wearing around her neck , that Indy had to have to solve the riddle of the location of the Lost Ark of the Covenant...

No, bc CLEARLY the name is spelled Muhamet, and any other version is wrong, wrong, wrong!! (Or, was that Muhammad? Or maybe Muhamed? Or Mohamad?... )

And it is a deadly insult to spell it wrong, and a cause for jihad... Prepare to die, infidel...

Well, it's also implausible on another front. Or maybe not, if you stop and think about it... I'll elucidate.

Okay, if I do a Google search, and type something in spelled incorrectly, Google catches it, and says, "Did you mean...?"

Sad to think that our top intel agencies don't get software as advanced as Google's search engine optimizer. :( Of course, on the other hand, we only probably paid on the order of several hundred billion dollars for ours, where theirs was developed in-house...

And yes, there really, REALLY should be a "facepalm" emoticon handy here, because it's just such a useful gesture lately.
