J.D. Hayworth is a former U.S. Representative from Arizona. He served in Congress from 1995-2007. Since then he's hosted a conservative talk radio show. He is running against John McCain in the Republican Primary for U.S. Senate.

Hayworth is a Tea-Party candidate, and he has their full support. He also has shown solidarity with "birthers." Now Sarah Palin, who the Tea Party worships and adores, will be campaigning for McCain in this race against their boy Hayworth. That seems to contradict everything she has recently said on her appearances on TV about supporting conservative candidates in the Fall. Is she just pretending loyalty to McCain, or is she seriously going to oppose the Tea Party? This one has me baffled.
