What makes titles like DINO and RINO work is that they're clever, and pronounceable, and they're related to actual things that exist. (Dinosaurs existed, Rhinos exist).

But what the fuck is a Fakino? Might've made more sense if the acronym had spelled out "Fuck If I Know"...

"Fiscal Conservative In Name Only"...but you already knew that. Insane people; Californians are laughing their heads off at her, and of course her opponents are having a ball. She's te Tea Party's candidate against Tom, who's been San Mateo's guy for decades. Maybe he's under fire this time, but I seriously doubt it. And whoever wins the primary goes up against our beloved Barbara Boxer--

Oh, I get the acronym (by the way, on a completely unrelated note, what is ACRONYM and acronym for? Just one of those imponderables, I s'pose); problem is, it's just a really shitty, very not clever attempt at an acronym.

And all ANYONE has to do to run li'l Carly Fiorina (loved her cheesey website, to: carlyfornia, indeed) off, is ask her why exactly she got fired from Hewlett-Packard. Something about spying on employees was involved, but she doesn't want to talk about it. That idea should go over GREAT with the "freedom-loving" tea-bag crowd.

In all honestly, I kinda hope she DOES progress a bit further in the process before that gets brought up in campaign commercials. But that's just because I wanna see her head explode on live TV when she's asked about it in one of her town hall tea-bagging parties. It should be a priceless moment. :)

Hmmmm...no doubt she'll have most of them in So. Ca., which is the only place she's got a snowball's chance in hell of winning, but on the off chance she dares show her head in SF, I'll have to attend and ask. Gimme a link to find the facts, and I'll have at her!

p.s., If I disappear, you'll know it's 'cuz I gave it a try and got tarred and feathered!

Heh, I still have some of those Bi-lingual TV people who owe me a couple over the aftermath of the May Day incident out there - that'd make a wonderful ambush question, and probably provoke her to acting out on her not-real-well-hidden racism besides, which'll go over real good in CA, won't it now ?

Especially when she was so all-fired up about outsourcing and HB-1 Visas, so you have to ask her about that dichotomy, and whether she'd prefer chains involved...

And if you think the HP fiasco, which goes deeper than that (follow the MONEY, Mike) is the bottom of the barrel on her, dude, keep diggin, there's more, much more, don't even get me started on WCA.

But really, do I have to do anything ?
Seems she's doin a right good job of bailing water INTO her boat, kinda like Rappie is known for, don't it ?

Perfect. It sums up their entire attitude towards working with Obama on anything, too. "Eff NO!"

You nailed it, Byte.

And an answer to the question of whether I'll ever vote for any of them.

Finally was able to watch the video Niki posted. The whole awkward sheep thing kind of reminds me of the two minute hate. A little disturbing, because I think that's the response it's supposed to generate. Complete with Big Brother appearing at the end.

Good one, Byte; I agree wholeheartedly! F-No-Cons, have to remember that one!

As to the ad; it won't get much traction in CA, so far it's nothing but a point of ridicule. Would work better in a rural state--few here relate to sheep, and it's SO poorly done, only the ignorant will have anything but ridicule for it. Heck, I'm surprised the laughter isn't wafting out across a few states, it's so loud!

The funniest thing to me is that watching it, one focuses more on the visuals of it and doesn't pay much attention to the verbiage. I'm sure after a few repetitions it gets through, but the simple message is "he's not fiscally conservative enough", which ain't much of a message.

Her primary opponents are, of course, crying "foul" and ridiculing it; Boxer merely said she'd got work to do, isn't paying any attention. Which is about as much attention as it deserved, except as a joke.
