My short list:

Nathan Fillion (something, but I can't remember what...)
Harrison Ford (Indy, Empire, Blade Runner)
Mark Hamill (Who SINGLE-HANDEDLY made Jedi worth watching!)
Jackie Chan (Who Am I?}
Sean Connery (Outland, Zardoz, Bond)
Pierce Brosnan (Bond)
Sigourney Weaver (Aliens)
Charlton Heston (Omega Man, Soylent Green, Apes)
Brandon Lee (Crow)
Jessica Alba (Dark Angel, FF)
Will Smith (I, Robot)
And,
Christopher Reeve (Superman)

Now, who did I miss?

HAKEN

Likes to mess with stuffs.

These are just Sci Fi action. Not pure action. Should really have a separate list just for those.

Anyway, in addition to what you have on your list, right on the top of my head:

Sigourney Weaver (Aliens series)
Milla Jovovich (5th Element, Resident Evil, okay, yeah so it's purely eye candy)
Bruce Willis (5th Element, 13 Monkeys, Armageddon, etc.)
James Caviezel (Outlander, The Prisoner)
Ed Harris (The Abyss, Appolo 13)
Keanu Reeves (Bill and Ted, The Matrix, Constantine, Johnny Mnemonic, etc.).
Will Smith (I Robot, Legends, and I actually enjoyed Wild Wild West).
Sean Connery (Outland, and does James Bond count?).

OOps! I slipped up! Gotta add Sean (and by extension Mr. Brosnan)! The Zardoz dude!
Yeah, Bond counts IMO.
Almost added Patrick McGoohan in my list, but he kinds transcends the whole thing I was proposing.

I was thinking of female stars though, and only Jessica really came to mind. Lots of great actresses, but stars?
Sigourney is cool, but is that it?
Help me out here...

Yeah, pure action would include Pam Grier & Bruce Lee and such.

A note on why the Governor of CA is not on my list: see Terminator 3 or Around The World In Eighty Days. Ahnult is only as good as his Director, and therefore, not one of my favourite "stars".
