Troopers raid popular bars for "unlicensed" but fully taxed beers

IT WAS ELIOT NESS and the Untouchables, as played by the Keystone Kops.

More than a dozen armed State Police officers conducted simultaneous raids last week on three popular Philadelphia bars known for their wide beer selections. The cops confiscated hundreds of bottles of expensive ales and lagers, now in State Police custody at an undisclosed location.

And people wonder why home brewing is taking off like a rocket ?

Bad enough the pisswater americans try to pass off as "beer" on a commercial level, but when someone tries to do one better, this seems the inevitable result.

I think imma call my cousin up in the west virgina hills and and see if we can't exploit those stupid rules for our own benefit here just as a slap in the face - he's been crankin out Jeremiah Stuff #4 (not gonna explain where the name came from) for years now, might as well make it official.

JStuff4 is kinda like an IPA, but lighter and crisper, with a sharp flavor suitable to back up anything you'd find at the local (unlicensed, unregistered) BBQ pit.
