A central figure behind the Center for Disease Control's (CDC) claims disputing the link between vaccines and autism and other neurological disorders has disappeared after officials discovered massive fraud involving the theft of millions in taxpayer dollars. Danish police are investigating Dr. Poul Thorsen, who has vanished along with almost $2 million that he had supposedly spent on research. Thorsen, who was a psychiatrist and not a research scientist or toxicologist, parlayed that study into a long-term relationship with CDC.

When you hire crooks to shovel bullshit under the cover of science, it's generally a bad idea to not keep a tight lock on your money when they're around.

Of more importance to me, is that his falsified research and credentials have *finally* been questioned - which likely wouldn't have been had he not pissed them off by heading for the hills with their dough, eh ?

I bet if one chose to follow up on that investigation with a thorough review, you'd find a lot of CDCs research faulty, and a many credentials falsified - which'd be a good thing, but they'll prolly focus on the budget, since the money is all the powers that be really care about.

ETA: Also noteworthy is that the evidence has learned towards adjuvants as every bit or even more dangerous than Thimerosal, and of course in combination it multiplies the danger.
