Okay, first of all, is that AURaptor or Wulfenstar doing the voice over at the top of the vid?

Second, you only have 10 seconds of a 4 minute clip where people are actually talking about violent action--the rest is just liberal intellectual whinging and is in no way comparable to the thoroughly ballistic rhetoric of recent months, the bringing loaded weapons to Town Halls that we've seen from the anit-Obama crowd.

Third, "Well, you know, we'll have to come out and kill somebody, I guess..." Now that IS a terrifying battle cry. I'm sure you were shakin' in yer boots first time you heard that ominous phrase. Shudder.

Folks like you crack me up--when Republicans were in power, you looked at the Dems with their protests and Bush = Hitler signs and laughed! Now, you're pretending to get all panicky and indignant as if there's any comparison between a stuttering paunchy liberal whining from behind his carefully lettered sign and the Hutaree Militia.

Classic " attack the messenger " response, from the get go. Let's see where this goes, and if the specifics of the video are addressed, shall we ?

You're already trying to explain away what WAS said, as well as all the signs on display.....amazing. 10 seconds, really ? Did you count out loud when viewing this video? Did you only count when " kill somebody " was spoken, and not the words prior or after ? This is truly amazing.

Actually, it is rather chilling, to see someone so casually confess that they'd flat out kill somebody, simply because an election didn't go the way they wanted. If the guy was holding an confederate flag, and spoke w/ an "rural" accent, and maybe sported a nice mullet.... .you'd be raising hell. You're really burying the needle on the disingenuous meter.

We laughed at the absurdity of it all, because it was so completely baseless. But what we didn't laugh at was how the Left called our soldiers 'nazis' and compared them to the Khmer Rouge. Now, when even 1 protester in a rally of 10,000 holds up a sign depicting OBAMA CARE as Hitler-esque, ( not even comparing Obama to Hitler himself, as the Left did for Bush, routinely ) the MSM goes ape shit, pulling their hair out and gnashing their teeth at the LOW state at which political discord has sunk to, thanks to the Tea Party folks.

Where the hell were these same phony cries of moral indignation and outrage when Bush/ Cheney et al were being branded a terrorists ?

Flat out, y'all are busted for being phonies, to the hilt. There's not even any room for debate on this matter. You want 'proof', I give you proof. You want video, I give you video. Do you come to anything remotely approaching rational, reasonable or mature introspection and at least ADMIT that you can see why we say what we say, even if you don't agree ? Hell no, you reject it , out of hand, simply because you can't deal w/ the facts.

Yeah, apparently this is Rappy's video "proof" that someone made death threats against Eric Cantor on YouTube. I've been asking him for days to post up the video to prove it happened, and this is his response, it would seem...

Ask YouTube, or the Feds. The video linked to that story has been taken down. You're a dumbass for belaboring that point, but then, we already knew that, long ago.

Then why are death threats against the President viewed by the Secret Service such a big deal ?

Again, when the Left does it - " Oh, that's just silly!"

When the Right doesn't even do it, but gets accused anyways... - " How DARE anyone make threats of violence! Lo! What Hate! What vitriol! How can we allow this in our society ?"

Then why interject the H.S. aspect into the discussion at all ? The key element here is DEATH THREATS in the political arena.

Chris was saying that death threats were near common place, in H.S. ,but no one was talking about H.S. at all. So it only follows, that he doesn't think that such threats are ,in and of themselves, all that big a deal.

So then, if they're not a big deal, why the hyper inflated over reaction when anyone merely disagrees with a Democrat ?

The logic does not follow.

And I did show you evidence, you simply ignore it. There's far more evidence of violence on the Left than on the Right.

Actually, you DIDN'T show me evidence - I specifically asked for your video evidence of anyone making death threats against Eric Cantor, which you conveniently keep sidestepping. You've posted up video of people saying things nearly a decade ago, which has absolutely nothing to do with Eric Cantor, who claimed he had received death threats and had his office shot up, when no evidence has been forthcoming of either event.

In other words, what I asked you was EXACTLY what you asked for in regards to the Congressional Black Caucus. You wanted specific video of a very specific action; I asked for the same from you. You claim that since such evidence hasn't appeared, it doesn't exist; I postulate that the same could be said of Cantor's "death threat" hooey.

When video and pictures of violent and racist right-wingers was posted, you first claimed that it didn't prove the claims of the left, THEN you further back-pedaled and claimed that those shown weren't even right-wingers. So I'll play your game, by your rules. Nothing you've posted shows any connection to Cantor at all; not even close. Nothing you've posted offers any proof that those shown are even Democrats; for all we know, that's you in the video spewing your hate in an effort to cast a dim light on all Democrats by associating them with your brand of hate and racism.

Kwickie

Are you truly this mental, or are you simply playing the part of the troll, because your life is that empty and meaningless ?

You know why. I did post a pic from the video of the whack job who threatened Congressman Cantor. That video exists, and its transcript has been posted. But BECAUSE HE THREATENED THE LIFE OF CONGRESSMAN CANTOR, YouTube has taken down that video. The FBI has it as evidence, and you KNOW that it was made, so no, the same CAN'T be said of Cantor's " death threat hooey".

I'm sure you think you're being cute, and clever, but you're really just being a moronic prick, and nothing more.

Cong. Cleaver claimed he was spat on. Video evidence suggests otherwise. He clearly wan't spat on , as he described. No where near the incident it was hailed to be. So, we have 1 claim and 1 video debunking that claim. Just as there was a video of that event, there should have been video of the Lewis claim.

There is none, even though thousands of people were there, and many had video ....why the hell am I repeating this ? You know all this, you're simply being stubborn because your side is shown to be the fraud we all knew it to be, and you're trying to divert attention away from the facts.

No, I'm playing by the exact same rules YOU set on this debate. So you posted "a pic", huh? Wow. That PROVES IT! Don't hand me the PN-like claim that "they" took it down; it's YouTube, it's the internet - everything goes somewhere. Where's your video? If you can't post it, you can't prove it. That's YOUR claim, not mine.

For all we know, "they" confiscated video of you and your buddies calling members of the CBC "nigger"; maybe you can't find the video because it's part of a criminal investigation, and has been taken down. It's as plausible as anything you've posted about Cantor.

No it's not. There is no investigation on the Lewis claim. There is no transcript of any such video. There is no still , no pic from any such video, which would identify the alleged perps, as is the case w/the Cantor video.

Well, I didn't listen to all of it, I got the point. But, while I can't liken Dumbya to Hitler, the tactics WERE very much the same. Helluvalot more similar than anything Obama's done!

He and his party, as is their trademark, DID foster fear in the populace and use it to increase their power, and made Muslims their target.

He DID encourage people to hate one another, under the auspices of the religious right.

He DID stomp on our civil rights, trash the Constitution,

He DID let his military imprison people without cause, torture and behave vile-ly...

He DID stifle free speech...I posted numerous examples of it in another thread.

He DID shoot for a "Permanent Republican Majority" and send our troops out to take over sovereign countries...his doctrine, remember? Get 'em before they MIGHT get you...?

He DID try to do away with the two-term-limit on Presidents...

There are a lot of comparisons. He's no Hitler. But I wonder what would have happened if he'd done away with the limits...

But Obama is far, far less in the mold of Dumbya or Hitler, in my opinion.

And thank you, but I'll deal with the NOW; I've already agreed about mob mentality and that the fringes don't represent the entire group, that I abhor violence on any side and that there are wingnuts and extremists on both sides.

So what is the statement? That there are scared and unreasonable people on both sides? I think that was attempted in another thread; how many of these do you need to try and make your point?

Aside from which, nobody is discussing the rhetoric by the members of Congress and others when it comes to Obama. That has no bearing, I take it. I haven't heard anyone on the left using the words they are, and such rhetoric can only fire up people on the fringes and make them think they would be right in taking action.

Anyone want to compare THOSE TWO?? How the Democratic members of Congress, any time in say the last 20 years, have used verbiage that very clearly speaks to violence and killing?

Not to mention the Republicans' rejection of the Democrat's efforts to get a unified statement against violence...the only possible reason for that is they don't mind people getting incited to violence...or has anyone a better reason?

As to big deal about the death threat to Cantor, someone would have to prove that Democrats didn't receive them, only Republicans did. Can anyone do that?
