humble foreign policy.. what happened?

forgive me if this has been posted before, i just thought we all should see it. why did Bush win in 2000? as evidenced here, he ran on a policy of humility. why did Obama win oin '08? he uttered sentiments of a return to humility. people vote for peace, but the aparatus, the foreign policy never changes. in light of the video in the 'wiki' thread, you cant help but wonder 'who really runs the show?' thought you all might like to see these videos of Bush and Cheney, prior to there taking office.. let me know what you think happened

well if you all have seen these already ill just let this sucker die- i just thought they were very revealing. Bush and Cheney actually appear rational, sane.. dare i say compassionate? it makes you wonder how corruptive an influence the white house, or the pentagon/state department must be. doesnt bode well for Mr. Obama.. given his campaign promises regarding Iraq/Iran/Afghanistan
