Okay, personally I believe that building 7 may have been waxed by our own peeps due to the secret stuff inside that was in possible danger of being looted by secret bad guys during this event.

Other than that, the main conspiracy I see is Bush/Cheney using the whole thing to push their New World agenda.

I generally agree with Chris, but go slightly farther to say that our government might have known enough to stop 9-11 but didn't act (incompetence?), and the previous World Trade Center bombing is suspicious.

I'm actually more supportive of the Truthers than not, but it's also important to laugh at myself now and then. The comic was funny, I laughed at it, so I posted it.

On the preventive side, I'd call it willful negligence. They HAD the intel, but corporate-style ass-kissing prevented it from ending up where it belonged, in the hands of the MILITARY!!!!

I agree with Byte and Chris, as it both makes sense and is perfectly reasonable, given both the fact that most governments are incompetent on one level or another, and that Dumbya's was particularly incompetent. I don't think they could have pulled off what actually happened deliberately...too much coordination and attention to warnings (or belief in same, as Dumbya was never too bright at listening to advisors!) involved, and they were lousy at both!

Given so many Americans' willingness to believe in conspiracies, it was easy to see that this one would take hold...we're pretty predictable that way
