What Firefly/Serenity lines do you think can be easily taken out of context? If you feel the character who delivered the line is pertinent, include that as well.

Not my top faveorite, but up there is:
I like to smack 'em.

Not wise to sneak up on a man when he's handling his weapon.

Kaylee's always one man short.

I think the double entendre in both of those lines was intentional.

LWAVES

I think all the lines that River 'hears' in Objects In Space during her walk through the ship at the beginning of the episode can apply. Of course they are deliberatelt meant to be taken out of context. Some are repeated that episode (Early), some in earlier episodes (Jayne, Simon) and some we never got to hear again (Book). I'm not sure about Mal and Inara's lines and I don't think Wash and Zoe have any lines.

Maybe not exactly what you were going for but they are out of context within the show.

Isn't the line "I like smackin'em"?

Thanks for the correction.

Perhaps this also needs correction:
