Okay, the hot ticket at the moment is Inception. And why not, Chris Nolan at the helm (fresh of his brilliant Dark Knight) with DiCaprio in the lead. A solid director and a solid actor.

Anticipation is killing me, but Tron has been on my wish list for 28 years, and now finally it's nearly "in the can." Read an article that tried to trash it and thought to myself "why so negative." The writer, a contributor to MSN, intimated that the actors didn't seem to know what they were involved in. I will attempt to find the article and paste it here.

It has been rumored that TL is all show with little story or substance. The creative team at Pixar was called in to flesh out the story (something the article mentioned in passing). I think that the Pixar team could save Disney's butt regarding Tron: Legacy's story and character development. I get the feeling that Disney went the way of Apple creator Jobs and put the cart before the horse. As I always say; for a film to be successful you a need a story.

Yes anyone looking to be negative towards this new film need look no further than the original TRON. NOBODY knew what they were doing in that one either, and that included the creators who were 'winging' it from the word go. If you watch the making of the original TRON you'll see how much of what ended up in the movie was not intended at all. Panic can often generate a better product.
