Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Wow, what a great speech (I didn't read the other stuff, think I know what it would be).! Every now and then I am blown away by some young person's insight into things I think young people don't "get", and it leaves me humbled.

I hope she gets the chance to pursue her dreams...once she figures out what they are. I hope she gets the chance to figure out what her dreams are or may be...and somehow I have the feeling she WILL!

We leave them in such a bad position, these young people; I'd like to dream that the deprivation they're going to experience might help change the system, make them wiser somehow.
