If you listen to the MSM you would think that Obama and Slick willy battled it out in Colorado. Clinton endorsed Romanoff while Obama endorsed Bennet setting up an apparent battle over DNC clout. Well Obama's boy won 54.2% to Romanoff's 45.7%. "Obama's back", the talking heads say. Which leaves me scratching my head. How in the world is giving an endorsement to a candidate that wins with just over 50% getting your political clout back? Simple. It's not It is just spin. See, this president is just 18 month's removed from a 70% democrat turnout himself. That so many people that voted for him went with Romanoff is telling. To make matters worse, even Bennet has said the president was a no factor in his victory, that Obama didn't help but didn't hurt. So why the Obama victory stuff? You all know the answer before I asked......November is going to be a political blood bath for the Dem's. I'm beginning to believe our Barry is a one term Prez.....Yes!!!!

That Georgia governor's race run-off didn't really go the tea-baggers' way, did it? The establishment Republican defeated the tea-bagger (who was endorsed by Palin) in a narrower election than the one in Colorado.

So it doesn't look like things are really going all that swimmingly for those dumbasses in the tea parties, either.

Voters are just pissed off, at everyone. Support for Democrats is on the wane, but support for Republicans and tea-baggers hasn't risen.

The Dems are in no danger of anyone taking over the House OR the Senate with anything like a veto-proof majority. Or even a filibuster-proof one. ;)

I've often pointed out that government may indeed work best when the Legislative and Executive branches aren't controlled by the same party, because it takes away the "rubber stamp" Congress aspect of things, and ensures that the stuff that's debated and voted on is the important stuff.
