Short buses? So, Wulfie, you have no reason not to attend, right?

By the way, the firm that did the crowd estimates for the so-called "Million Man March" is set to be doing crowd estimates for this gig as well. They tend to piss people off, though; at the MMM, they pissed off organizers because their best estimates showed more like 250,000 people attended (giving fodder to right-wing pundits who decried the whole affair as a failure).

They were also the ones who estimated the crowd at GlenBeck's TeaBaggapaloozer rally at 87,000 - a figure those same right-wing pundits were incensed at, and called preposterous.

So it seems arguing about the size of the crowd is more of a bipartisan thing, eh?

So, Wulfie, before the thing happens, and before any crowds show up, will you stand by their numbers, whichever way they fall? Will you be able to handle it if Stewart draws more people than your Mad Messiah, Herr Beck?

I'll agree, it's not sanity. OTOH, it's Huff, and she does not really have membership to the club of sanity.

I thought it was interesting when she announced that on the Daily Show she said something about We'll show those Tea Partiers whose boss, we'll have a liberal march .... and Jon Stewart cut her off and said something to the effect of "Um, you're really missing the point, and, hey, Tea Partiers are welcome at my rally."

And I think he means it. I don't agree that what we need is sane and placid resistance, I think we need chaos that scares the politicians. Not scares them so much that they start throwing tear gas, just scares them into thinking they might not be re-elected. Because, sure, it's a rigged system, but your election at least has to look plausible. Right now, it doesn't look plausible for Christine O'Donnell to become a senator. People would be very surprised if she did. They might ask questions. TPTB don't like questions.
