Okay that was funny and I never thought I'd find myself agreeing with Hitler!!
I don't have as bad an opinion of Wahlberg as others do. He has shown some acting skill (The Departed) but it's very very rare and he needs the right director/script to bring it out of him.

As for Nathan not getting the role then I couldn't be happier. I don't know the game (but I've heard of it) so I can't say how well he'd fit to the role. But video game adaptions are notorious for sucking or being mediocre at best. This will probably be no exception as the extensive track record of previous adaptions backs this up. It would be a blot on his resume had Nathan got the role.
It's just my opinion and I may be proven wrong but somehow I doubt it.

Nathan would indeed be perfect for the role, as [presented in the game.

But you're right. It'll probably suck. After the casting was announced, the writer/director gave an interview where he talked about the things that excited him about the project - and none of them had ANYTHING to do with the game, and made the whole thing sound like a National Treasure sequel.
