In the March issue of Esquire magazine, our favourite psychic warrior ballerina-cum-Terminatrix-cum-crime fighting blogger is crowned one of the periodical's "Woman We Love."

I have to say, the video and pictorial sampler that comes with a section of the accompanying interview is fantastic - as befitting both Summer and Esquire - and I have to say...some of the revelations have definitely caused some re-evaluations of Summer, though in a good way.

I demand all faithful Browncoats take a gander!

No need for that, now. Just because Wilde hasn't played a psychic asskicking crazy girl doesn't mean she has no talent. I'm a big fan of House, and of hers, there's plenty of good there.

Summer looks fantastic, of course. I bet the wonderful shot of her twirling in the air took some time to get.

I hope she gets a better role, soon. The Cape was lackluster at best, and already looks to be on its way out. She needs a leading role and some good writers.

Facts are stubborn things.

Summer looks...............what else, GREAT.

Hamada, Hamada!!!!

Olivia Wilde is a cutey, definite eye-candy but don't blame her entirely for the poor showing of Tron: Legacy. The script and director had a lot to do with that.

Still though, would have been great with Summer in it. Wait the Geek signal is going off, Fringe starts in 15 minutes.

SGG, signing off!

Comic-Con is wild, like another universe. I'm always surprised because I think people won't recognize me. And they do. It's a very unique kind of devotion. Joss [Whedon] tried to explain it to me before I started working with him. There's been a few creepy things, like the art that people have made of me. Or people will write whole books based on your character. But the strangest thing about the attention — when people like you for a reason you don't quite understand — is that you don't want it to end.

Summer Glau was great as River. Like, really, top-notch performance great. Haven't seen her in anything else.

Her voice in real life is pretty different to how she plays River.

I just saw the little movie thingy, and read what stood underneath it, damn I am in love.

how can anyone be so cruel to write that she is a showkiller, that makes me want to hug her, an tell her not mind them one bit, to tell her it´s all gonna be alright, and that she is the best, to me she has been in some greath shows and done a greath/fantastic work just been damn unlucky with the shows being cut short for one reason or another.

she likes a little Whiskey! to unwind, LOL that I did not see coming
"she and her sisters drinking like fishes I thought that
was a funny writting. (without getting in trouble )"

so she do not like to sing in public probably still her shyness, rearing its shy little head

and the thing about the bed...

she is a pasta girl, what is not to like here?

I like to hear there are friends of her saying she is driving a little to fast, hopes she listen, even through she is trying to drive it how a muscle car should be driven keep her safe

damn I would love to be her friend or perhaps a little more, oopps did I say that aloud

Well I've found the video that is going to take up my entire month. Finding out she likes muscle cars and bourbon, she is the perfect woman!

She loves pasta, barbecue, whiskey and Shiner. And then there is what she wears to bed. (Or rather what she doesn't wear.) I love her.

Loved Olivia Wilde in "The Black Donnellys".

Love Summer better, though.

Thirty years ago Summer would have been just what I was looking for.

Of course, thirty years ago...
...summer was just a season of the year.

Sigh...

For the commentary on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles the other actors rave on about how beautiful and perfect she is. She does well as a Terminator, and it lasted 2 seasons.

I'd let her drive my Firehawk Convertible (fastest, quickest, best handling production vehicle ever made by Pontiac, and highest MSRP) - with me in the shotgun.

I'll be in my bunk.

That's what a ship is, you know - it's not just a keel and a hull and a deck and sails, that's what a ship needs.
