President Obama promised "change" to the people who voted for him. He told them to hope again and that change would come. But President Obama's change is really more of the same. Therefore, his elixir that was sold to the world was nothing more than snake oil. The most damage, of course, is being done to those whose dreams were intricately woven into his words, not realizing that words are not policy. In a most deadly treachery, those who believed in our President the most are the ones who are now suffering and dying the most.

Some people, to this day, remain tricked by the salve of words for the wounds inflicted by our President. Others have begun to sink into despair while some search for answers. But our President is adept at giving us, in the words of the late, great Fred Hampton, Chicago's other son, "answers that don't answer, explanations that don't explain, and conclusions that don't conclude." It is to those searching for answers that I refer to my previous writings compiled on the websites below and to the writings of Bruce Dixon and Glen Ford and the entire www.BlackAgendaReport.com team and of Wayne Madsen whose writings can be found at www.WayneMadsenReport.com.

In Rosa Clemente's and my 2008 Green Party "Power to the People" Presidential campaign, I tried to warn the attentive public of what was to come under an Obama Administration: even I could not imagine that it would get this bad.

I knew that dissent would be intolerable under an Obama Administration, enforced both from the Black political consensus and from the Democratic Party wingnuts--quashing dissent even with all of the attendant special interest burdens that come with any aspect of the Democratic Party.

I knew that the Muslim world was going to be in for a shockingly rude awakening, but even I could not conceive of the carnage this President could bring to that part of the world--either by a policy that encourages Muslims to kill other Muslims, or by the dropping of bombs and the use of depleted uranium on Muslim communities. But not only that, we are seeing the murder of whole countries and the communities and cultures that gave rise to them. The President's policies are dismantling and dismembering Pakistan and Afghanistan as we watch. The U.S. Embassy in Iraq announced plans to employ a total of 16,000 people, doubling its staff, within the next two years. The only antidote to these policies is unity and I hope that the residents of these countries are able to unite and resist in a much more effective way than have "antiwar" "liberal" communities inside the United States. Of course, some individuals stand out and are leading the resistance now and I can only hope that their voices are heard and multiplied among the masses, both here and around the world.

I do believe that Henry Kissinger was onto something when he marveled at the tremendous good will that this President has around the world and I do believe that Henry Kissinger, among others, sought to use that good will for their own purposes. After all, when you buy a President, like a slave, he becomes yours. It is clear now, that the people of the United States did not buy this President and so they do not own him. There are clear winners from the policies currently being pursued, but they are not the people.

First, she hasn't been MY Congresswoman in some time. I voted her out , once, then she got back in when xCongresswoman Denise Majette "decided " to run for the US Senate, and got trounced. Most here in GA agree that she was instructed to run for the Senate, if she knew what was good for her. Jihad Cindy won her seat back. By the time the next election came up, district lines had been redrawn, and she was no longer my Rep.

And as for being dismayed that she went " all anti-semitic ", then you don't know her OR her dad, Billy.

A jew is not the jews. This is an important one. Right now you could say "the blacks are ruining America" and that would be racist. "A black guy is..." wouldn't be, it would just be kinda a statement of fact.

1) Her dad is not her. I would not like to have my dad's political positions attributed to me.

2) Anyone can take issue with AIPAC. I do. AIPAC supports US military intervention in the middle east because *they* think this will be good for Israel. I disagree. I think it will start a major fucking world war, and when the dust settles, Israel will be part of the dust that is settling because there are 1.4 billion muslims and only 7.7 million Israelites or so. That's nearly 200 muslims per jew. They'd have to have more than 20 times the highest recorded kill ratio to win. Even with our armed forces, it's still basically inconceivable.

I favor peace in part because I think we're really vastly outnumbered. I resent AIPAC's hijacking of both countries. These guys owe their allegiance to no one but themselves.

Seriously. If you have something, post it. I'm not accepting that Cynthia McKinney is her dad. Yeah, I voted for her, and you already know I've had my head examined, I'm insane, but we can move on.

Reality check: McKinney asks tough questions that other politicians won't because they're too special interest whipped.

So does Pirate News. He has a big conspiracy theory that it's all the jews fault. I take issue with that. I also know he's not really going to nuke Israel.

But I'm not about to support someone who is just saying the questions I want asked, and, okay, some I don't care about, or that are a little out there, but if it's all just a ruse to cover for "Juden Raus" then deal me out. But what you haven't done is prove the point.

This is like saying that Obama was Jeramiah Wright. He so isn't. He's more like G. W. Bush. The Rev. Wright is more like Aristide, whom I would actually have less trouble voting for. I don't really agree with liberation theologists, but I don't disagree with them on the same level that I disagree with the CFR.

I think Obama is unamerican because he sells us out to international interests and has no respect for US sovereignty. I don't think he was born in Kenya, that he's a secret muslim or that he's a liberation theologist, or even really a socialist. But he does put his globalist agenda ahead of the USA, and that's not something that a president should do, ergo, he has no business being in that office.

If Cynthia McKinney has a serious problem with jews, you have to spell it out, and it's gotta be a little more than Rachel Corrie, who I do not think wanted to nuke Israel.

Rap, It's a two sided coin. If I support the rights of Jews to live in the west bank or Gaza, I have to support the rights of Palestinians to live in Israel, and that means also, the rights of palestinians to live in the west bank and Gaza. And Gaza is a pretty damn nice place. If I lived there, I wouldn't want someone coming through and bulldozing my home through some big govt. bu||$#1+ eminent domain, which I so recently had to deal with here. And yeah, they don't mention this in the press, but it's not just Israel that does this, it's Hamas doing it as well, to both sides.

So, point being, it's not as simple as jew and no jew. If someone agrees with Rachel Corrie, then they do, hey, I agree with her on this issue, just not to the whole martyrdom thing.

I also agree with the flotilla ship Rachel Corrie and her crew.

That's not the same as wanting to nuke Israel.

Right now, no one that I know of wants to nuke Israel. I know that Iran does not want to nuke Israel. This is a kind of extreme case to make, based on "Oh, her dad's a racist" or whatever.

As I just said to PN, if you have something, post it. If you're just talking out your hat, lets just move on.

ETA: And about her dad, and what he said, Frankly, I don't give a damn. If you have something on Cynthia McKinney herself, go ahead.

ETA2: The president's dad was a terrorist for the Mau Mau. That's not a valid point against Barack. Ditto Rahm. Bush41's dad was a Nazi sympathizer. So what? People are not their fathers. I grew up in GA, and know this clown for who she is. She's a big fan of Fidel Castro, who I deem a literal mass murderer. Not that he just ordered innocents killed ( Che Guevera did most of that dirty work himself, as he enjoyed it ) but took part the killing himself. Were I President, I'd have dropped a precision guided ordinance down Castro's sky light long ago....

Joe was an open, vocal supporter of the NAZIs , while any support Prescott may have given is dubious at best.
