If anyone hasn't heard that one. I heard it a week ago, but only now remembered to Google it. Poor Rick Santorum...that one's gonna be around for a while!

AURAPTOR

America loves a winner!

So, someone w/ a vendetta out against this guy makes up a vulgar definition, puts in on the internet, along w/ a web site set up to attack him and his character, and you try to play it up as something of any merit or interest ?

Pretty much what I'd expect from the likes of you.

Childish, petty and not worthy of any real discussion.

Now, go respond to this with some nonsense which includes 27 or so idiotic emoticons.

You know you want to.

Keep the Shiny side up

If you read the Wikipedia article on 'Santorum (neologism)' you'll find that this definition has been around since 2003. The Wiki article is actually a pretty interesting description of the phenomenon, with several pages of history and 131 references.

"...puts in on the internet..."?

I think I hear the traffic calling you, miss.

To make matters worse, after running into this huge problem with anyone trying to google his name, Santorum decided to fight back by posting a story about a dog pissing on him.

So the guy whose most famous accomplishment is trying to equate gay marriage to man-on-dog sex then tries to fix a very serious image problem by relating a story about dog-on-man pissing.

Google "santorum dog".

And take that shovel away from Santorum.

Ahh, so this is where the quote Mike put up elsewhere came from. Well, here it even BETTER illustrates your mentality, Raptor. With no further knowledge, you were immediately convinced that it was a hoax put up by someone, when in actuality the phrase has been around for eleven years or more, and has nothing to do with anyone "attacking" Santorum, or a "vendetta" or anything else. It's a very real problem Santorum has run up against, obviously, yet to you it can only be a hoax. It's precisely the same thing as poor Anthony Weiner being stuck with his name, but gawd forbid you could see the similarities.

Truly, Raptor, you make yourself less and less valid every time you respond with your locked-in mentality. It's sad.

Odd, the name of a socially far right wing Congressman an then Senator gets used as a vulgar term only AFTER he's been in office for over a decade, and you think it completely coincidental.

In 1990, at age 32, Santorum was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania's 18th District,

In 1994, at the age of 36, Santorum was elected to the U.S. Senate, defeating the incumbent Democrat, Harris Wofford.

And in 2003...

Time line doesn't lie.

Pretty desperate to back yourself up when you get caught, aren't you?

Make any claims you want, that doesn't make them true. Sad for you.

Meanwhile, if you google "santorum" and click "images", you get this unfortunate family portrait:
