The recent class-action lawsuit brought against Taco Bell raised questions about the quality of food many Americans eat each day.

Chief among those concerns is the use of cellulose (wood pulp), an extender whose use in a roster of food products, from crackers and ice creams to puddings and baked goods, is now being exposed. What you’re actually paying for – and consuming – may be surprising.

Hahaha. Seriously? All the horrific cancer-causing chemicals added to food, and people are worried about cellulose? The worst that'll do to you is give you a tummy ache, unless you have a sensitive digestive system or something (like my cat, or my brother's dog), in which case you'll just strain a lot and have the runs and have to switch to a diet with less "fiber."

Heh. But I guess if they expose the low-quality in one area, maybe they might finally start thinking about all the other stuff.

Seriously, vote with your dollars and don't eat there. I cannot recall the last time I ate from a fast food chain. Preparing food at home is more time consuming but better for you and at least competitive in terms of cost.

It is a truism that almost any sect, cult, or religion will legislate its creed into law if it acquires the political power to do so, and will follow it by suppressing opposition, subverting all education to seize early the minds of the young, and by killing, locking up, or driving underground all heretics - RAH

Good point Byte. I'm one of those people who doesn't really want to know how fast food is made, unless it is something dangerous like chemicals, I'm glad they're cutting transfats out of them for instance since that stuff is really bad for you and the food doesn't taste any worse without it.
