The Saturn Awards have been announced, Joss' Ats swept the awards for Television and Firefly won for best Television release to DVD:

MALICIOUS

I am so PROUD! I feel completely foolish, of course, as I had nothing to do with it, but still! OUR little Big Damn Show won an award. I feel like I did when my son won a field day ribbon...that kind of pride, although I think the award is a tad more prestigious than the ribbon.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

This is excellent news!!!

It is great that Joss shows took so many awards. That can only help to further establish his already considerable credibility in Hollywood, and give him more pull in the control of his projects.

I hope that the powers that be take note of Firefly taking that award. It is through the hard effort of Joss, the cast & crew, and us Browncoats that it did so well.

Now, let's see what we can do about getting the movie some awards and recognition.
