As if it's not bad enough that here in Northern Virginia we already get a ton of special-interest-group commercials on TV and in the print media about everything from the melting glaciers in Greenland to why Lockheed is necessary for the defense of our way of life to what we should do about the situation in Somewhereistan, for the benefit of the Congress and their staffs, we are now apparently one of the leading battleground states for the Presidential election, along with Ohio.

Whoopee.

So we'll now get political ads from both parties, as well as PACs and interest groups from both sides, from now until the last minute of election day.

Oh, joy.
